Your morning starts on the water with our signature Half-Day Vjosa Rafting experience. You will navigate the azure waters, crash through fun, moderate rapids, and marvel at the towering canyons that line the riverbanks. After drying off and sharing a traditional riverside lunch, the pace changes completely. We will transport you into the scenic foothills to visit a local, family-run Bee Park. Here, you will learn the fascinating traditions of Albanian beekeeping, don a protective suit to see the hives up close, and indulge in a premium tasting of organic mountain honey paired with local cheeses and traditional gliko.
Meet at our Përmet center for your safety briefing and gear fitting. We'll head straight to the Vjosa River to begin your morning of white-water rafting through Class II and III rapids.
After conquering the river, we pull over at a scenic spot to dry off. Enjoy a delicious, traditional Albanian lunch packet to recharge your energy for the afternoon.
We arrive at the local mountain apiary. A local expert will guide you through the fascinating lifecycle of bees and the history of honey production in the region.
The perfect ending. Sit back and enjoy a tasting session featuring various types of pure mountain honey, paired perfectly with fresh local cheeses and herbal mountain tea.
Absolutely! The beekeeping portion is highly educational and very safe. Protective netting is provided if we get close to active hives, and children love the honey tasting at the end.
No prior experience is necessary. The morning rafting segment is our family-friendly Class II & III route, perfect for beginners and first-timers.
